Shipping Policy
Last updated January 09, 2026
This Shipping Policy explains (A) how to ship your submission to Imperium Grading, and (B) how we ship completed orders back to you. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Corrections Policy. Where this Policy differs from our Terms, the Terms prevail.
A) Shipping to Imperium Grading (your submission)
A1. Before you ship
Create your submission online and print the submission slip. If you do not have a printer, clearly write your submission number on a note inside the box and on the outside of the package.
A2. Card preparation (required)
Place each card in a clear penny sleeve, then into a semi‑rigid holder. Do not use toploaders or screwdowns for standard cards.
Arrange cards in the exact order shown on your submission slip.
Optional: place the stack between two pieces of card and secure with paper bands (no tape on holders).
A3. Packing your box
Use a sturdy cardboard box (no padded envelopes).
Fill voids with bubble wrap or other cushioning to prevent movement in transit.
Put the submission slip on top of the card stack inside the box.
Seal all edges with strong packing tape.
A4. Addressing and labelling
Send to:
Imperium Grading Ltd,
Steel House, 4300 Parkway,
Whiteley, Fareham
PO15 7FP
United Kingdom
Mark the submission number on the outer label
A5. Which courier and insurance?
Choose a tracked service with signature and appropriate compensation for your declared value. You are responsible for carriage and insurance to our premises. Risk remains with you until the package is recorded as received by us (see T&Cs).
Keep your proof of postage and tracking.
A6. Prohibited and special items
We do not accept counterfeit, altered, or stolen items. We may refuse or return such items and may inform authorities. See T&Cs for details.
B) Shipping from Imperium Grading (our return to you)
B1. Carriers and services
UK shipments: We return orders via Royal Mail Signed for as standard. Upgrades (e.g., Special Delivery Guaranteed) may be offered at checkout or on request.
B2. Processing and dispatch
Processing time: we aim to dispatch within 1 business day after your order is marked Ready to Ship and payment (including shipping/insurance) has cleared.
Orders confirmed after 3:00pm (UK time), weekends, or public holidays may dispatch the next business day.
B3. Packaging standards
Cards are returned encapsulated and secured inside a rigid carton with internal cushioning. We do not use lightweight envelopes.
B4. Tracking and delivery
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can track on the carrier’s website.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
B5. Risk and liability during delivery
Once collected from our premises, the carrier is responsible for safe delivery to the address on your order. Where the carrier records proof of delivery (scan/GPS/photo/signature), items are deemed delivered and at your risk (see T&Cs).
Transit delays, loss or misrouting are the carrier’s responsibility. We’ll assist you with documentation to support any claim you make with the carrier.
B6. Compensation and insurance
Our standard service includes compensation up to the carrier’s included limit. You may be able to purchase additional insurance at checkout (subject to service availability and limits).
B7. Missed deliveries and storage
If you are not available at delivery, the carrier will leave a card or update tracking with redelivery/collection options. Any storage or re‑delivery fees charged by the carrier are your responsibility.
C) Address changes and delivery instructions
We can only ship to the delivery address on your order. If you need to change it, contact us before dispatch. After dispatch, please use the carrier’s redelivery/ diversion options where available.
Requests to leave parcels in a “safe place” are at the carrier’s discretion and are at your risk.
D) Damaged or incorrect items on arrival
If your parcel arrives with obvious external damage, photograph the packaging before opening.
For encapsulation/label issues or fulfilment errors, follow our Returns & Corrections Policy. Transit damage claims must be raised with the carrier directly under their terms (we can provide supporting documentation).
F) Service availability
We currently accept submissions from the UK only. We may expand to additional regions; updates will be posted on our website.
G) Questions
If you need help choosing a service or arranging collection, contact [email protected].
H) Policy updates
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted on our website. The Last updated date will be revised accordingly.
